In the app (fastest)

1. Open Hummingly.
2. Go to the You tab (your profile).
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account is closed immediately, all private-share access is revoked, and deletion of its server-side data begins.

By email (if you can't use the app)

Email hello@hummingly.app with the subject “Delete my account”, from the email address on your account. After verifying ownership, we process the request within the period required by applicable law and notify you when it is complete.

What gets deleted

• Your account is closed, its direct identifiers are removed or anonymized, and its sign-in credentials and sessions are revoked.
• Your song metadata stored on our servers, including names, styles, lyrics, and account-library fields.
• Your account-synced song audio. Access is removed and private storage objects are queued for deletion.
• Any push-notification device tokens.
• Account-sync device registrations and sync timestamps.
• Your private-share invitations, recipient grants, and claims associated with your songs are revoked or removed.
• Protected share-audio copies associated with your songs. They are made inaccessible immediately and queued for deletion from private storage.

Deleting your Hummingly account does not delete library files already held on your device or in an optional Google Drive/iCloud provider backup. Turning Backup off in Hummingly stops future automatic backups on that device but likewise does not erase a provider copy that already exists. Provider-held copies remain governed by your Google or Apple account and controls. Local wellness history on a device and sessions already written to Apple Health or Health Connect are also controlled separately and are not automatically removed by Hummingly account deletion.

What we may retain

We keep only the minimum required by law or legitimate safety and security needs — e.g. basic billing/transaction records needed for tax and accounting, limited entitlement history, security/audit records, account blocks needed to protect other users, or evidence reasonably required to resolve a safety, abuse, or legal report — for the applicable period and not for advertising. Deletion from Hummingly's private object storage is asynchronous and retried if an operation fails. Copies in Hummingly's encrypted infrastructure backups may remain until the applicable protected retention cycle ends. This operational retention is separate from a Google Drive or iCloud backup you selected, which Hummingly account deletion does not remove.
